Sorry, this isn’t pretty but I had to post it.

The Highveld Horse Care Unit was called out to investigate a Hackney stud farm for a case of severe animal cruelty. They found horses strung up with bailing twine in their stables with some horses undergoing a process of neck binding.

The neck binding is used to make the horses sweat in that area and break down muscle.

The bailing twine is a horrendous and incredibly painful shortcut used to get the fancy neck build that buyers want in a Hackney. The groom/trainer stated that the horses were continually strung up with bailing twine for two solid hours with short breaks in between.

Removal of the bailing twine shows just how deeply it was cutting into the lower jaw.

This is one of the worst cases of cruelty and torture I have ever seen. The human race is disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting. Build muscle the correct and humane way. Sickos

this is disgusting…. how could u ever do this to a horse… every discipline has abuse and its so sad, just to get a quick buck too.
